To Our LVR Members,

In an effort to find a solution that works for all of our members, the Board of Directors motioned to amend a previous motion on ending hybrid committee meetings during our May meeting. After considering all of your feedback, we agreed on a new solution that better represents both our community’s and members’ expectations: committee webinars.

Overall, committee webinars will function similarly to hybrid meetings in the sense that LVR members will still have access to information within committee meetings via Zoom webinars. However, there are a few changes that aim to preserve the integrity of the community here at the Association and within each committee, respectively; that which can only be maintained in person, such as:

• Committee members who participate in person will have their attendance counted for that meeting, but all LVR members will be able to watch committee webinars to stay in-the-know with our guest speakers and hot topics discussed during the meeting.

• There will be a Q&A session for committee webinar viewers during each meeting, allowing viewers a brief window to ask a question or voice their concern regarding a topic discussed earlier in the meeting.

• The Q&A session will be conducted by the committee’s staff liaison, and the order in which viewers are permitted to speak will be determined by the chair and vice chair.
