Back to School Giveaway Was a Success!

The LVR Community Outreach Committee partnered with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) to provide school supplies as part of Feel Good Friday on July 28 and 29, 2022. Our REALTORS® set up and gave out school supplies to homeless youth in need for the upcoming school year. 

The committee hopes to make a difference in the lives of Nevada’s homeless youth through this partnership and is looking to participate in more events. Feel Good Friday is a youth outreach event hosted by NPHY every Friday afternoon, powered by the community, with volunteers driving distribution and activities. 

During each event, volunteers will assist in giving out information and supplies, this time school supplies, needed by young people who are in unstable housing situations or experiencing homelessness. 

This event was a huge success, in part due to the support from LVR’s Community Outreach Committee Members.
