2024 Concealed Carry Weapon Classes

If you’re interested in learning about firearms safety and would like to get your Concealed Firearms Permit, then look no further! Come to LVR on one of the dates listed below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for our Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) class.

The class is $125 for LVR members and $135 for non-members. Upon completion of the course, you’ll have everything you need to submit your CCW application to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. You'll explore a wide range of topics, including firearm safety, firearm handling, firearm selection, ammunition, principles of marksmanship, Nevada and federal laws, use of force, shooting aftermath, and much more.

If you are looking to renew an existing CCW permit, then you’ll need to attend the afternoon portion of the class which starts at 11:45 AM. The cost is $65 for LVR members and $70 for non-members.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and secure all of your shooting equipment in your vehicle before entering the building. The class entrance will be on the South East corner of the building. After the classroom portion, we’ll be going to a nearby shooting range for the firearms qualification. Hearing and eye protection will be provided. Firearm rentals are available for $40, which includes the ammunition. We’ll have a working lunch, and food will be provided.
