An Important Message from Our 2025 President

Las Vegas REALTORS® is aware of divisive comments being attributed to one or more of our Members on social media this week following the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk.

We want to make it clear that LVR and its leaders do not condone hateful or potentially hurtful speech, and that such comments do not reflect the views and values of our Association and profession. Such public comments are contrary to LVR policy and the Code of Ethics all REALTORS® are sworn to uphold, and they will be addressed through the processes in place.

The Association has been made aware of comments by Mark Sivek, an incoming director for the Board of Directors for 2026. Under my authority as President, I have removed Mr. Sivek from any appointed positions at LVR and the Board of Directors is following the established process to deal with these concerns as quickly as the process allows.” Furthermore, Mark Sivek has resigned his 2026 and 2027 LVR Board of Directors position.
