LAS VEGAS REALTORS® LAUNCHES “BUY A CANADIAN A BEER” CAMPAIGN

Goodwill campaign welcomes Canadian visitors to Las Vegas ahead of Golden Knights–Ottawa Senators game

LAS VEGAS — When the Ottawa Senators come to Las Vegas to take on the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 27, Las Vegas REALTORS® (LVR) is encouraging its members to give visiting Canadians a little extra Las Vegas hospitality.

The association’s “Buy a Canadian a Beer” campaign has a simple premise: If you see a Canadian visitor or Senators fan while you’re out watching the game, introduce yourself and offer to buy them a beer — or another beverage of their choice.

WHY CANADA?

The campaign is lighthearted, but the connection behind it is real. Canadians have long been important visitors to Las Vegas and participants in the U.S. real estate market. The Oct. 27 matchup gives LVR an opportunity to recognize that relationship while having a little fun with the friendly rivalry between the two countries.

HOW IT WORKS
For LVR members, the instructions are simple:

1. Spot a Canadian. A Senators jersey is a pretty good clue.

2. Say hello. Tell them you’re a Las Vegas REALTOR®.

3. Buy them a beer. Or another beverage of their choice.

4. Ask for a selfie. Capture the moment. Share on socials. Tag @LVRMembers or #Beers4Canada

The goal is simple: start a conversation, make someone feel welcome, and perhaps make a new friend.
