Charity Event: Donations Needed

Homelessness is a growing concern in many communities, and Southern Nevada is no exception. Sadly, young people are often the most affected, with many struggling to find a safe place to call home.

But change is on the horizon, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV), Las Vegas REALTORS® (LVR), and the Nevada Partnership of Homeless Youth (NPHY). We are parntering with Nevada Appraisal Institute, BOMA, SNCCIM, CREW Las Vegas, IREM, NAIOP, SIOR and The Nevada State Apartment Association (NVSAA) to make this happen.

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, CALV and LVR will renovate several of NPHY's housing units to provide temporary homes for some of the area's homeless youth. This is an important step towards helping these young people gain stability and start a new chapter.

As a community, we can all play a role in this effort. The deadline to donate items from the NPHY Amazon Wish List for the beautification project is Friday, March 31, 2023.

You can show your support by clicking the link below to purchase items from the list. Your purchase will be shipped directly to LVR.

But it's not just about donating items. You can also get involved by volunteering for the NPHY beautification day on Saturday, April 22, 2023. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these young people and give back to the community in a meaningful way.
