Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Class

If you're interested in learning about firearms and positioning yourself to earn a concealed carry weapon certificate, look no further! Come to LVR on Saturday, May 20, 2023 for our Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) class from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The class is $125 for LVR members and $135 for non-members. Upon completion of the full course, you'll meet the requirements set forth by the Nevada Sheriffs’ and Chiefs’ Association to earn a certificate. You'll explore a wide range of topics, including firearm safety, firearm handling, firearm selection, ammunition, principles of marksmanship, Nevada and federal laws, use of force, shooting aftermath, and much more.

If you are looking to renew your CCW instead, the first 4 hours will be available as a separate package; the renewal is $65 for LVR members and $70 for non-members.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Please secure your firearm and ammunition in your vehicle before entering the building. After the classroom portion, we’ll be going to a shooting location for the shooting qualification. You’ll need at least 30 rounds of ammunition for the shooting qualification. Hearing and eye protection will be provided. Firearm rentals are $40. We’ll have a “working lunch" at 11:30 AM, and food will be provided.
