Five Questions with Jennifer Mount

Meet commercial real estate pro Jennifer Mount, CPM, who is representing IREM on the CALV Board of Directors for 2023. She works as a commercial real estate property manager at Colliers. To find out more about her, we asked these quick questions:

How long have you been involved with IREM?

• Four years.

How long have you been involved with CALV?

• I have only been involved with CALV starting this year and am honored to be part of such a great organization.

What prompted you to join IREM and get more involved?

• In 2019, I began my journey to earn my CPM designation and started volunteering with the local Las Vegas IREM chapter as a committee chair. I wanted to be a part of the great things the Las Vegas chapter does for its members and community.

What’s your job, and what’s your favorite part of your job?

• I’m a commercial real estate property manager. I manage a portfolio over 2 million square feet of industrial, retail and office properties. My favorite part of my job is knowing that my daily efforts play a part in our community.

What’s one thing most people would be surprised to know about you?

• I do not have a college degree. I feel it’s important for anyone interested in starting a career in our industry to know that a college degree is not required to be successful.
