In 2021, Juneteenth became a national federal holiday, marking a significant milestone in highlighting the importance of the day and its impact on American history.
Each year, Las Vegas hosts a Juneteenth Festival, which provides a space for people to come together, celebrate, and educate themselves. The festival is an opportunity to learn more about the African American community's achievements and contributions and celebrate the progress.
