Matrix Field Updates

Residential Rental Listings

Exciting updates to Matrix fields for Residential Rental Listings, specifically for Vertical High Rise properties, will go into effect on January 14, 2025. These changes aim to improve clarity, detail, and standardization.

Key Updates for Vertical High Rise Listings:

1. Style

  • High Rise 5+ Stories is now required when selecting the property style.

2. Building Description

  • New options include Brownstones and Retail/Office.

3. Unit Description

  • 5+ Levels is now required to describe the unit.


4. Property Description

  • At least one of the following options must be selected: Condo/Hotel, Corner Unit, Efficiency, Floor to Ceiling Windows, Ground Level, Loft Living, Multi-Level, Penthouse, Service Entrance.

5. Parking

  • Private Elevator is now available as a parking description option.
  • Fields for #Parking Spaces Included, Parking Level, and Parking Space ID# are mandatory.

6. On-Site Staff

  • A required field to specify On-Site Staff (Y/N) has been added.
  • If “Yes,” at least one staff type must be selected: Bartender, Cleaning Service, Concierge, Dog Walker, Doorman, Guard, Lifeguard, Pool Attendant, Property Management, Server, Valet.

7. On-Site Services

  • At least one on-site service must be listed. Options include Business Center, Cable, Car Service, Concierge, Dry Cleaner, Exercise Room, Internet, Restaurant, Shuttle, Social Privileges, and more.

8. Building Deposit

  • A new field asks whether there is a Building Deposit (Y/N).

9. Association/Community Features

  • At least one feature is required for High Rise properties. If “Association” is marked as “Yes,” all feature fields must be completed.

10. Field Name Update

  • The name Residential Rental/High Rise will be replaced with a more user-friendly input and search option.

11. Terrace Location

  • A new field allows specifying terrace location, with options such as Bedroom, Great Room, Living Room, Media Room, Other, Primary Bedroom.
