New SentriLock® Lockboxes are Available

We are pleased to announce that new SentriLock® lockboxes are now available for sale at our store! We are not doing an exchange and both boxes work in the field together with the SentriKey® Mobile App. If a box is defective, replacements will be like-for-like. Click here to learn more.

Aside from the structural and physical appearance changes of the SentriGuard lockboxes vs the Gen 3 lockboxes, there are functionality changes as well — the most important ones being the alternatives for CBS and Contractor Mode.

SentriGuard does not have an option to utilize CBS Mode or Contractor Mode.

Contractor Mode Alternative – Agents will instead be able to grant access using Flex Codes for up to 30-day access or grant SentriConnect access for up to two weeks at a time. SentriConnect is the more secure option as it is a mobile app that is used with Bluetooth to gain access to the lockbox. The members are notified immediately of the access and have the ability to revoke the access too if needed. Flex Codes and SentriConnect accesses are both generated on a lockbox-by-lockbox basis.Contractor Codes are going to be fully deprecated on all lockboxes in the near future.

Call Before Showing (CBS) Mode Alternative– Access by Appointment (ABA) can be utilized in lieu of CBS Mode on each listing to require showing agents to set an appointment prior to visiting the listing. Without an appointment the showing agent will not be able to access the lockbox. ABA follows the listing, not the lockbox, and once enabled on that listing it is on indefinitely unless the listing agent manually turns it off.Since the feature is intended to be turned on/enabled per listing by the agents, there isn’t an option to turn it on/off for all listings at once. Call Before Showing will be disabled on 3/31/24.
