The Las Vegas REALTORS® Board of Directors has approved a series of proposed amendments to the Association's Bylaws. These changes are designed to enhance governance, expand the pool of leadership candidates from which the membership can choose, protect the integrity of our elections, and streamline committees, among other changes.

Originally planned as a ZOOM®-only event, the Special Meeting & Bylaws Vote will now be offered in a hybrid format—giving you the option to attend either in person or virtually via ZOOM®. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Durango Casino & Resort (6915 S. Durango Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89148).

During the meeting, members will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed changes using ElectionBuddy, our secure third-party voting platform. To participate in and vote during the meeting, you must register to attend either in person or virtually via ZOOM®. To register and vote via ZOOM®, you must use the email associated with your LVR membership.

Please note: In-person attendance for the Special Meeting & Bylaws Vote is for educational and observational purposes only. No amendments will be accepted from the floor. All voting will still be conducted electronically through ElectionBuddy.

If you can’t attend the Special Meeting; you will have the option to cast your vote in advance by proxy. All eligible members will receive a personalized voting link and credentials email directly from ElectionBuddy on Monday, July 28, 2025. This is a secure process that allows the option to every member to submit their vote on each proposed Bylaws change directly and electronically without needing to attend the Special Meeting. [Update: July 28, 2025] - Proxy Voting Security & Member Privacy

We understand that some members have questions about the security and integrity of the proxy voting process for the upcoming bylaws vote.

To provide clarity and confidence, here’s how your vote is protected:

Unique Access Keys

Each eligible member received an email containing a secure, randomly generated access key tied to their individual voting record.

This link can only be used by the designated member and cannot be forwarded or reused by others.

Encrypted Voting Platform

We use ElectionBuddy, a secure third-party voting system trusted by associations and organizations worldwide. It provides:

1. 256-bit encryption for all data and traffic
2. One-time-use ballot links to prevent unauthorized access
3. Complete audit trails to ensure vote integrity
4. Optional voter confirmation receipts

Your Vote, Your Control

No one, including LVR staff or leadership, can view your individual vote. The system is designed to ensure voter privacy and safeguard the process from tampering or misuse.
